COLOUR REFLEXOLOGY

Joan Bower qualified at the London Masonic Hospital, Hammersmith in 1992 and became accredited two years later.

Reflexology is holistic which means that it deals with the WHOLE body (mind body and soul).

Like Acupuncture or Shiatsu it works on unblocking the body's natural pathways thus enabling it to function properly.

Gravity can lead to small crystalline deposits building up in the feet just as Gout is a build up of Uric Acid.

By working on the feet these small deposits can be removed allowing the body to normalise.

This complementary therapy was used 7,000 years ago in Ancient China, India and Egypt. In fact a wall-hanging was found in a physicians tomb in one of the pyramids depicting reflexology.

Joan is a qualified COLOUR THERAPIST and sometimes combines her Reflexology using the energy from crystals, silks and aromacology. Colour therapy is used in hospitals. Shining the colour blue on newly born jaundiced babies was found to disperse the yellow pigmentation which gets flushed through the kidneys thus saving a blood transfusion.

Reflexology has now become medically recognised and is used in many hospitals including the William Harvey Hospital and the Ashford Hospice.

Initial treatment is one hour and is then half an hour depending on what is found during the course of the treatment.
